WORK ON HOHOE TOWN ROADS PROGRESSING (PAGE 39)

WORK is progressing on the Hohoe town roads. At the moment, the 1.6 kilometre highway through the town has been tarred.
As part of the project, the 300-metre road linking Agodome with Zongo has received first dressing while the 1.8-kilometre drainage system from the Bank of Ghana to the St Francis College of Education is also progressing steadily.
According to the Volta Regional Engineer of the Ghana Highways Authority (GHA), Mr Steven Blay, he had examined the chippings used in the road construction and found them to be of good quality.
The Managing Director of Survivals Construction Work, Mr Dela Castro-Ahorsu, who is executing the project said the GH¢1,170 project would be completed on schedule.
